Private Instruction

Ideal for the person who:

is uncomfortable in groups
wants to quickly diagnose specific problems
wants to accelerate their shooting game in a hurry
wants to get supervised range time when they don't have access to a range

Private instruction is purchased on an hourly basis (due to the need to cover vital safety information, the first time you take private instruction with Intrepid, it needs to be a two-hour session). It may include range use fees depending upon the location.

Private instruction need not be only a 1:1 ratio. Semi-private instruction is also available (think: a private husband/wife or parent/child session, for example).

Private instruction can take any form imaginable: private time at the range, private consultations over coffee, in-home security and defense consultations and myriad other possibilities.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for private instruction.

Equipment & Gear

Firearm

If the nature of the instruction involves firearms, you should have the following, otherwise no firearm is required:

Clean defensive firearm
Magazines as necessary
Magazine pouch (optional)
Rigid holster (Kydex, etc.)

Safety Gear

Safety gear suitable for the nature of the private instruction. It may vary greatly. For shooting-related instruction:

Eye protection
Ear protection
Close-toed outdoor shoes
Brimmed cap

Ammo & Extras

Ammunition
Weather-appropriate clothing
Beverage to stay hydrated
Snacks as you wish
Other gear as you wish
Note-taking materials
